Plagiarism Policy

Each paper submitted to the Journal of Public Administration and Policy (KAYPOD) is reviewed by the Editorial Board.
Articles with a similarity ratio of more than 20% are not included in the evaluation process and are sent back to the author.
When receiving the  report, bibliographic materials are excluded from the similarity index, citations and matches are included in the similarity index, and the source exclusion threshold is set at 5 words.
The Editorial Board is able to check the similarity during and after the pre-check and evaluation process.
In case of quoting a source and not referring to the relevant source without taking into account the similarity ratio in articles and/or similarity in blocks, the work is returned to the author by the Editorial Board without being included in the evaluation process.
It is assumed that the authors or authors applying for the article accept the rules on the plagiarism policy.
