WRITING RULES

Authors submitting papers to the journal should pay attention to the following:

The work must not have been previously published or under consideration elsewhere. The responsibility for this lies entirely with the authors. Artuklu KAİME journal and the editorial board do not accept responsibility in this regard.
Submitted papers undergo plagiarism detection using plagiarism detection software. If the similarity rate in the entire paper exceeds 20% or if the similarity rate from the same source exceeds 3%, the paper is rejected during the preliminary evaluation stage and returned to the author.
During submission, the paper should not contain any information about the authors. This information will be requested in later stages.
All authors intending to publish in our journal must have an ORCID number.
The evaluation process for submitted papers takes approximately one month, depending on the referees' evaluation process.
Our journal evaluates papers through a three-stage process: initial review, peer review, and editing. During the initial review stage, papers are evaluated for compliance with the journal's writing rules, publication policies, and accepted areas of study. Papers that do not meet these criteria or exceed the similarity rate mentioned above are rejected during the initial review stage and returned to the author(s). Papers that pass the initial review stage are forwarded for peer review.

Our journal employs a double-blind peer review process. Papers submitted to our journal are sent to two separate referees who are experts in the field. Papers with positive evaluations from both referees are accepted for publication. For papers with one positive and one negative evaluation, a third referee is assigned for evaluation. If the third referee provides a positive evaluation, the paper is deemed suitable for publication. If both referees provide negative evaluations, the paper is rejected without the need for a third referee, and the author is notified accordingly. To ensure objective evaluation criteria, referees are not informed about the authors, and authors are not informed about the referees.

Papers with positive evaluations from both referees are notified to the authors as accepted for publication, and authors are requested for final revisions before being scheduled for publication in the next issue.

It is crucial that the paper follows these rules:

The paper should be organized as follows: Abstract, Introduction,... Conclusion, References.
The entire paper should be written in Times New Roman font. First-level headings should be in uppercase, bold, and 12 points. Second-level headings should be in title case, bold, and 12 points. The abstract should be in 10-point italic font, with the word "Abstract" in uppercase, bold, and 12 points. Below the abstract, at least 3 keywords should be provided. The abstract should not exceed 250 words. The word "Keywords" should be in uppercase, bold, and 12 points.
The text of the paper should be in 12-point Times New Roman font with 1.5 line spacing. The paper size should be A4, with dimensions of 21 cm width and 29.7 cm height. Margins should be set to 2.5 cm on all sides (top, bottom, left, and right).
Tables and figures should be formatted to fit within the margins of the paper. Table and figure titles should be centered above the table or figure, in bold, and in 12-point Times New Roman font.
The APA6 citation style is adopted for referencing in the journal. For details on APA6, you can refer to the following link: http://www.tk.org.tr/APA/apa_2.pdf
