Gençlerin Girişimcilik Eğilimlerinde Girişimci ve Girişimcilik Algılarının Rolü

Öz

Bu araştırma, genç girişimci adayların girişimci ve girişimcilik olgularına yönelik algıları ile girişimcilik eğilimleri arasındaki ilişkileri incelemek amacıyla tasarlanmıştır. Alanyazından yararlanarak oluşturulmuş bir anket aracılığıyla Aksaray Üniversitesinde okuyan 1520 genç girişimci adaydan yansız ve kolayda örnekleme yöntemleriyle veri toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler, faktör analizi, betimsel istatistikler ve korelasyon analizi ile test edilmiştir. Sonuçlar, girişimci algısının girişimcinin özelliklerine ilişkin algılar, girişimcinin toplumdaki olumlu rolüne ilişkin algılar ve girişimciye yönelik olumsuz algılar biçiminde üç alt boyuttan; girişimcilik algısının da girişimciliğin kavramsal anlamına yönelik algılar ve girişimciliğin bireysel ve toplumsal faydalarına yönelik algılar olarak iki alt boyuttan oluştuğunu ortaya koymuştur. Elde edilen alt boyutlara dayalı olarak yürütülen analizler sonucunda, girişimciye yönelik olumsuz algılarla eğilimin alt boyutlarından algılanan davranışsal kontrol dışında diğer tüm alt boyutlar arasında belli büyüklükte pozitif yönlü ilişkiler olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu bulgular, girişimci ve girişimcilik algılarının girişimcilik eğilimlerinin gelişiminde rol oynadığına işaret etmesi açısından önemlidir.
