Öz

Uluslararası göç, bireysel bir eylem olmanın ötesinde toplumları ve gelecek kuşakları etkileyen önemli bir olgudur. Bu araştırmanın amacı, ekonomi konusunda göç alanında yapılan lisansüstü tez çalışmalarını çeşitli parametreler doğrultusunda bibliyometrik olarak incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla YÖK ulusal tez merkezi veri tabanı üzerinden 131 lisansüstü tez çalışması tespit edilmiş ve ilgili çalışmalar bibliyometrik tekniklerle analiz edilmiştir. Analizlerden elde edilen sonuçlar incelendiğinde, en çok tezin Türkçe dilinde yazıldığı, en fazla tezin 2019 yılında yazıldığı, yazarların cinsiyetine göre kadın araştırmacıların fazla olduğu, en fazla tezin Marmara üniversitesinde yayınlandığı, danışman unvanı açısından Prof.Dr. unvanlı danışmanların fazla olduğu, daha çoğunlukla yüksek lisans tez çalışmalarının yapıldığı, devlet üniversitelerinin fazla olduğu, çoğunlukla nicel araştırma yönteminin tercih edildiği, nicel araştırma yöntemi içerisinde ekonometrik analiz yöntemi tercih edildiği, en çok tezin iktisat anabilim dalında yazıldığı ve göç ile en fazla ilişkilendirilen konunun makroekonomik etki olduğu sonuçları bulunmuştur. Analiz sonucunda ekonomi alanında göç konusuna yönelik gelişim sürecinin izlenmesi, genel eğilimlerin ortaya konulması, literatüre katkı sunulması ve gelecekte çalışma yapacak bilim insanlarına yol gösterici olması hedeflenmektedir.

Öz

International migration is an important phenomenon that affects societies and future generations beyond being an individual action. The aim of this research is to examine the graduate thesis studies conducted in the field of migration in the field of economics bibliometrically in accordance with various parameters. For this purpose, 131 graduate thesis studies were identified through the YÖK national thesis center database and the related studies were analyzed with bibliometric techniques. When the results obtained from the analyses are examined, it is noted that the most theses are written in Turkish, the most theses were written in 2019, there are more female researchers according to the gender of the authors, the most theses were published at Marmara University, in terms of the title of consultant, Prof.Dr. more of an advisor is entitled, where her thesis work more often, more of the state universities, mostly quantitative research method is preferred, the method of quantitative research methods in econometric analysis where it is used, most of the thesis was written in the Department of Economics macroeconomic impact of migration and topic associated with that yielded results. As a result of the analysis, it is aimed to monitor the development process of migration in the field of economics, to identify general trends, to contribute to the literature and to guide scientists who will work in the future.
