Girişimcilik ve İnovasyon İlişkisi: Teorik Bir Değerlendirme

Öz

Günümüzde ileri teknoloji firmalarının yükselişinin ardında, girişimcinin yeteneklerine ve risk üstlenmesine bağlı olan inovasyon yoluyla gerekli

teknolojilerin uygulanması yatmaktadır. Bu teknolojilerin ortaya çıkartılmasında ise girişimcilik etkin bir rol üstlenmektedir. Girişimcilik süreci beraberinde

inovatif süreçleri getirmek suretiyle iktisadi büyümeyi teşvik etmektedir. Bu iki faktörün geliştirilmesinde ve teşvik edilmesinde kamu kurumlarına, sanayi

sektöründe faaliyet gösteren firmalara, teknoloji merkezlerine, iletişim ağlarına ve üniversitelere büyük iş düşmektedir. Bu gelişmeleri takiben girişimcilik ve inovasyonun ülkeler açısından arz ettiği önem artmış, ülkeler inovatif girişimlere yönelik ekonomik reformlar geliştirmişlerdir. İnovasyonun önemli bir göstergesi olan Ar-Ge harcamaları uluslararası ekonomide çok uluslu firmaların etkin bir rol üstlenmelerine zemin hazırlamıştır. Gelinen noktada birçok girişimci emek gücünün bol ve ucuz olduğu ülkelerde yatırım ve inovasyon faaliyetlerini gerçekleştirmektedir. Bu çalışmada girişimcilik ve inovasyon arasındaki teorik bağlantı üzerine bir perspektif çizilmiş, Türkiye ve seçilmiş ülkelerin girişimcilik ve inovasyon konusundaki performansı değerlendirilmiştir.
