Artan lojistik elemanı ihtiyacını karşılamak amacıyla Türkiye’de üniversitelerdeki lojistik eğitimi veren bölümlerin sayısı gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Uzman elemanların yetiştirilmesi sürecinde lojistik sektörünün ihtiyaçları, yetiştirilen elemanların niteliği ve eğitimin kalitesi ile ilgili sektör temsilcileri ve eğitimcilerden sıklıkla görüşler alınmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, lisans düzeyinde lojistik alanında eğitim gören öğrencilerin lojistik eğitimiyle ilgili düşünceleri ve beklentilerini belirlemektir. Çalışmada Türkiye’deki devlet üniversitelerinin lojistik bölümlerinde lisans düzeyinde eğitim gören öğrencilerden yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi ile veri toplanmıştır. Öğrencilerin düşünceleri ve beklentileri ile sosyo-demografik özellikleri açısından farklılık olup olmadığı test edilmiştir. Yapılan fark analizleri sonucunda öğrencilerin sosyo-demografik özellikleri açısından lojistik sektörüyle ilgili düşünceleri açısından istatistiki olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunurken, lojistik bölümünü tercih etmeye yönelik beklentileri açısından istatistiki olarak anlamlı bir fark gözlenmemiştir. Öğrencilerin staj durumları arasında lojistik bölümünü tercih etmeye yönelik beklentileri ve lojistik sektörüyle ilgili düşünceleri açısından istatistiki olarak anlamlı bir fark görülmüştür. Sonuçların lojistik lisans eğitimi ders planlarının belirlenmesinde fayda sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
Logistics elements in Turkey to meet the needs of growing number of departments of universities offering education in logistics is increasing day by day. In the process of training expert staff for the sector, opinions are often received from sector representatives and trainers regarding the needs of the logistics sector, the quality of the staff trained for the sector, and the quality of education. The aim of this study is to determine the thoughts and expectations of the students studying in the field of logistics at the undergraduate level regarding logistics education. The study data with face to face interviews from students studying at undergraduate level in the logistics department of state universities in Turkey were collected. Whether there is a difference in terms of students' opinions and expectations and their socio-demographic characteristics was tested. As a result of the analysis, it was observed that there was a statistically significant difference between the socio-demographic characteristics of the students in terms of their opinions about the logistics sector, while there was no statistically significant difference between their expectations to choose the logistics department. It was observed that there was a statistically significant difference in terms of students' expectations for choosing the logistics department in terms of their internship status and their opinions about the logistics sector. It is thought that the results obtained will benefit the planners in the process of creating and revising the undergraduate logistics education lesson plans.
