Bireylerin Risk Azaltma Stratejilerini Etkileyen Faktörler Üzerine Ampirik Bir Araştırma

Abstract

Bireylerin artan kişisel sorumluluklarından ötürü, risk azaltma

stratejilerini yönetmede bireysel sigorta tercihlerini etkileyen

güdülerin tespiti öncekinden daha önemli hale gelmiştir. Araştırma

tip A davranışı, kontrol odağı, heyecan arama, kaygılı olma,

finansal risk toleransının sigorta tercihlerindeki rolünü sorgulamayı

amaçlamaktadır. 71 kişilik örneklem veri setine uygulanan analiz

sonuçları kaygılı olma, kontrol odağının tip A davranışı üzerinde,

bu davranışının ve heyecan aramanın finansal risk toleransı üzerinde,

finansal risk toleransının sigorta sayısında etkili olduğunu

göstermiştir.

An Empirical Study on Psychological Motives for Individuals’ Risk Mitigating Strategies

Abstract

Due to their increasing responsibility in risk mitigating

strategies, understanding motives for insurance preferences is

more important than before. This study aims to explore anxiety,

locus of control (LoC), type A, sensation seeking and financial risk

tolerance (FRT)’s role on insurance preferences. Results indicate

that (a) anxiety and LoC as significant on type a personality, (b)

type a and sensation seeking as notable on FRT and (c) FRT as

important on insurance preferences.
