INVESTIGATION OF AWARENESS, TAKING RESPONSIBILITY AND MOTIVATION CHANGES IN PEOPLE WHO TAKE COACHING

Abstract

This study examines the
changes in awareness, taking responsibility, and motivation in people who take professional
coaching. The data collection tool used in this study consists of six questions
designed to identify participants' gender, age and educational status,
awareness, taking responsibility and motivation changes. The prepared data
collection tool was implemented at the end of each coaching sessions with
face-to-face interviews with the coaching service recipients. According to the
results of the analysis, it was determined that the level of awareness of those
who take coaching service is high and the level of taking responsibility and
motivation is moderate. Another important finding in the study is that; there
is no relationship between sociodemographic factors (gender, age, level of
education) and awareness, taking responsibility and motivation changes.
